Apprentice/Candidate for Membership of the Year

The PGA of Ontario Apprentice/Candidate for Membership of the Year Award is the highest honor the Association can bestow on a working Apprentice/ Candidate for Membership whose total contributions to the game best exemplify the PGA of Ontario Apprentice/ Candidate for Membership. This award embraces a wide range of services executed by the club professional.

PGA of Ontario Apprentice/Candidate for Membership of the Year Guidelines are: Demonstration of outstanding qualities of leadership, Demonstration of strong moral character, Well-regarded as a role model to other PGA of Ontario Golf Apprentice Professionals.

In 2011 the award went to Cameron Thin of St. Catharines Golf & Country Club
