The Rock Golf Club

The PING Ontario PGA Class 'A' Championship presented by Ecco Shoes is the first of its kind in Canada. Open only to Canadian PGA Class 'A' Professionals the Class 'A' Championship is one of the most competitive tournaments of the summer. A Canadian PGA Class ‘A’ Professional wears many hats and here are few of the roles a Class 'A' plays; manager, mentor, teacher, promoter, player and ambassador of this great game.

• NO ALCOHOL DURING COMPETITION- Consumption of alcohol during the course of play of a CPGA of Ontario Tournament event is strictly prohibited. Any player found in breach of this rule will be deemed to have conducted themselves in a manner unbecoming of a Member of our Association and will face a penalty set forth by the Tournament Committee. • Casual attire permitted.

Open to all Ontario PGA Class A members in good standing.

Day 1 - Lunch and Dinner Day 2 – Continental breakfast and lunch. All players are expected to attend. CASUAL ATTIRE PERMITTED.

Power carts are included.

Directions: Proceed North to Foot’s Bay on Highway #400, Exit onto Hwy #69. Turn right onto Regional Highway #169 (Exit 189) and follow to Glen Orchard. Turn left onto Regional Highway #118 heading towards Port Carling. Just prior to Port Carling turn left onto Peninsula Road. (Regional Highway #7). Travel approximately 10 km’s North to the Hamlet of Minett. Turn right onto Juddhaven Road at The Corner Store. Travel approximately 1.5 km’s past Clevelands House Resort. Turn left to enter The Rock Golf Club.

This event is the secondary qualifier for the Canadian PGA Club Professional Championship. Only those participating in the primary qualifier (Ontario PGA. Championship) will be eligible to receive exemption into the CPC via this secondary qualifier. Remaining exemptions into the 2009 CPC will be filled by secondary qualifier participants based on their 36 hole finishing positions in this event. See www.cpga.com for details.

Winner is automatically on the Ontario/Quebec Team if Head Professional.
