Simmlands Ontario PGA Seniors' Championship

The Ontario PGA Seniors Championship has been contested since 1980 and boasts an accomplished list of past champions. Four Canadian Golf Hall of Famers and one Ontario Golf Hall of Fame member have their names etched on the trophy. Those names include Moe Norman(Can), Al Balding(Can), Bob Panasik(Can), Wilf Homenuik(Can) and Jerry Anderson(Ont). The Seniors' Championship is a 36 hole individual stroke play event with no cut.

DATE: August 10, 2009 - August 11, 2009

FIELD: Maximum – 100 players.

TEE TIMES: Day 1 - 8:30 a.m. tee times Day 2 – 8:30 a.m. crossover start

FORMAT: This is a 36 hole stroke play competition without a cut.

(Markham, Ont., August 11, 2009) - Ken Tarling played his second consecutive bogey free tournament round and in doing so he won his second Ontario PGA Seniors' Championship.
