The Ontario PGA Spring Championship is considered to be the first 'major' championship of the year for Canadian PGA Members and Apprentices in Ontario. The Spring Championship is an official Hunt Trophy event and is typically played in the Kitchener / Waterloo / London area. This event is a two day 36 hole individual stroke play event. Past winners of this event include Bob Panasik, Gar Hamilton, Moe Norman, Mark Evershed, Steve Bennett, David Miller, Ashley Chinner, Ken Tarling and Jerry Anderson.

DATE: May 25, 2009 - May 26, 2009

FIELD: Maximum 120 players. Should the entry exceed that number at the entry deadline, the exemption formula in the 2009 Tournament Rules and Conditions will be applied.

TEE TIMES: Day 1 - 7:30 am tee times Day 2 - 7:30 am crossover

FORMAT: 36 hole stroke play competition, with a cut to the low 70 players plus ties, after the first round
