The Briars Golf Club

The Ontario PGA Apprentice Championship began in 2006 as the brain child of former Briars Director of Golf Bradley Johnston. The Apprentice Championship is comprised of Canadian PGA Apprentices and new Canadian PGA Candidates for Membership. The Apprentice Championship has been contested at The Briars since 2006.

DATE: September 15, 2010

FIELD: Maximum – 81 players. If the field does not fill by deadline, 2010 successful candidates who have submitted their completed membership package may enter.

TEE TIMES: 1:30 Shot gun

FORMAT: This is an 18 hole stroke play competition.

• THE USE OF CONTRABAND SUBSTANCES AND THE CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL DURING COMPETITION - The use of contraband substances and the consumption of alcohol during the course of play of a CPGA of Ontario Tournament event is strictly prohibited. Any player found in breach of this rule will be deemed to have conducted themselves in a manner unbecoming of a Member of our Association and will face a penalty set forth by the Tournament Committee

Open to all Elite Apprentice, Candidates for Membership in good standing with the CPGA of Ontario (NO CLASS A MEMBERS OR TEACHING PROFESSIONALS).

Lunch prior to play, buffet and prize presentation upon completion of play.

Power carts are not included. Please make your own arrangements with the host club.
